The Sunnyside Police Department has started the annual crow abatement season. Officers will begin using pyrotechnic devices (similar to fireworks) in an attempt to scare crows from the downtown area. This activity will occur in the evenings beginning at dusk and continue until about 8:00 pm nightly. This process will continue over the next couple months.
