UPDATE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2O19

All non-critical city functions will start at 10:00 AM. Essential Public Works, Police, Fire/Ambulance services are not delayed.

MUNICIPAL COURT/CITY COUNCIL 

Due to inclement weather Sunnyside Municipal Court will start at 11 AM on Monday, February 11, 2019.

An update on any other delayed city services will be posted online by 7:00 AM on Monday. In addition, we will monitor weather conditions for Monday evening’s Council meeting and post updates online by 3:00 PM.

PUBLIC WORKS

Sunnyside Public Works Department currently has 5 on the crew out to clear as many of the streets as they can during this break in the weather. They’ll have 2 on overnight; then 3-4 starting again around 4:00 am Monday.

They’ve been slowed a bit because the big loader broke down (which helps to clear the largest piles). We are hoping to have the loader repaired as soon as possible.

We have a top-notch Public Works crew and we are so thankful they are out there trying to keep us all safe on the roads and that we continue to receive services to our homes and businesses.
